- http://mmm3.sf.net - plain POP3-only mail checker with support of multiple mailboxes, filters, friends list etc.
- http://ssrss.sf.net - plain RSS generation tool. I have used it to make feed for my site, and since it was my first touch with this technology, you can be sure it is very simple to use.
