Setting Print Options

You use the Print options dialog box to define Compare It!-specific settings for your reports.

To set print options:

  1. Choose File > Print options, page General.
  2. Use the check boxes to define your settings using the information below:

    Select ... To ...
    Use Colors To print your report in color. If you are printing in black and white, inline changes are shown in bold font.
    Word wrap Enable word wrapping for printing.
    Print line numbers Print line numbers on the left side. If you use this option, we recommend that you also use Print changes only option.
    Landscape Print in wide (landscape) mode.
    Statistics Include the following information in your report: total number of lines changed, added, or deleted.
    Print changes only Print only different lines along with several context lines. You can also use the context lines field to specify the desired quantity of context lines to print.
  3. Click OK.
