Manual Matching |
|
In rare cases, the comparison engine can do false line matching. This can happen if a file has multiple duplicate lines. To correct this problem, you can perform manual matching.
To manually match two lines:
- For each line, position the cursor in the line, right-click and choose .
The anchor is shown in the user interface in a red box with a number, which allows you to use multiple anchors without problems.
- Repeat step 1 for each set of lines you want to match manually.
Note: You can set up to 25 manual anchors.
- Choose to rescan the files.
The lines with the same anchor number will be considered identical during the comparison.
