In passive mode I no longer get the error. However, once Synchronize It runs into the file called "wwwstat" it simply quits as you have observed.
This file is added by my server provider. Will see if they can delete it, I can't seam to delete it from my side.

Not sure what you mean by public. I would tend to say no, its not public since you need an ID and PW. I FTP to the server to upload and make changes to my web page located at the following link:

500 ORT not understood
