Re: Magic Mail Monitor and Windows 7
Since I have not heard from anybody about this, I have to assume that the MMM program will not run in Windows 7 without some modification. I hate to say goodbye to this program after relying on it for so many years, but if I can't get it to run in Windows 7, I will have to stop using it. My thanks ...

Re: Magic Mail Monitor and Windows 7
Does anybody have an answer to this?
I have searched the internet for a solution. SourceForge.net does not have any forums for this product anymore.
I don't know where else to look.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

Magic Mail Monitor and Windows 7
Hello,
I have Magic Mail Monitor 2.94b19 running well on a Windows XP Pro SP3 computer.
I am trying to get it to run on a Windows 7 32bit computer.
Can that be done?
I brings up the mail screen and tries to connect with "Connecting to host", but eventually says "Cannot connect"
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Attempting to build Magic 2.94b19
Valerii,
Ok. Are you saying I can use it for my own needs without problems, but i won't be able to compile it?
You give me the link to openssl.org, but then you say "sorry". I'm not sure of why you say that.
Will i be able to compile it if I find what i need at the openssl.org site?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Attempting to build Magic 2.94b19
Hello Valerii. I see there are two spellings of your name and i am not sure of which is correct. So, i'm still unclear about this. I will not be able to compile it for my own personal use? I do not plan to use it in any commercial application. I guess i need to read up on exactly what "open source" ...

Re: Attempting to build Magic 2.94b19
Hello.
Thanks for your reply.
Is your name Valeriy Ovechkin?
So, I can't really use the source code for anything except to just look at it?
Can you explain what the openssl is?
Thanks,
Tony

Hello,
Yes I have that specific filter checked in the list of filters. I also have the Mailbox set to "*" for all mailboxes.
Thanks,
Tony

Re: MMM b19 Filters setup
Hello,
When you say "Do you have filters enabled", if you mean do i have the "Use filters automatically" checkbox checked?
I don't have that checkbox checked.
Thanks,
Tony

Re: MMM b19 Filters setup
Hello, I'm not sure of how this helps me. I added a new filter with the "<From> Equals '$blacklst.txt'". I checked 'Delete from server' checkbox in the Filters dialog box. I right click an unneeded email from the list and selected 'Add to Lists\blacklst.txt\From'. It then displayed blacklst.txt in N...

Re: MMM b19 Filters setup
Hello. Thanks for your reply. I really like Magic Mail Monitor. I use it daily. It is always part of my computing life. I bring it with me wherever I go. It is so easy to use. It is probably one of the best utilities i have ever used. I downloaded the source code and i have Visual Studio 6.0. I can...

MMM b19 Filters setup
Hello.
I'm using Magic Mail Monitor b19 on a Windows XP SP3 computer.
Is there a way to add multiple entries to the filters in MMM without going through the dialog boxes one at a time?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony

Re: How to compile MMM 2.9.4-b19
Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I all of a sudden realized that when trying to open the .DSW file in VS 6, i was using the VB program. I have opened it using the C++ program and it works fine now.
Sorry for not being more observant.
Thanks again,
Tony
