Req: A few features

I have a few (I hope) small requests: - I have not found an option to quit SI!3 by using the <Escape> key. It would be nice to (re-)enable this 'Close on Escape' feature of V2. Should be configurable from Options, IMHO. - When re-opening, the last 'Maximized' and (main)Dialog size/position state is ...

Again: Resizeable Folders dialog

Igor, Now that you have release Synchronize It! 3 (build 1200) I've finally come to test-drive it  , that's my own fault ofcourse :!: I've jumped onto the wagon, and see how I'll ride ;-) A few points I've come across: (maybe more after using this new version a little longer) - There have been...

I had some trouble with horizontal scrolling about a year ago, but since then my Windoze was re-installed, including my Logitech mousedrivers, and the problem never reappeared. Could re-installing any non-default Windows mousedrivers help here? or upgrading to the latest MS or Logitech drivers (If y...

I found the way around it by keeping a spare "working" copy of the winsync3.ini file and whenever I get an error I overwrite the new ini file and it works fine again.
What-if you compared those 2 files with Compare It! before copying, to see what the real diffs are... :?

I'd vote for this feature if that was requested.

I have to discuss changes sometimes, and taking a full-fledged dual-page printout into the discussion, raises often questions I'd rather avoid answering :? (there's a lot of really old Cobol code over here...)

Re: Word-level comparison

That is, instead of highlighting the "k" and "v" in "strike" versus "strive", could it highlight the entire words? Sometimes words are accidentally similar but their meaning is different, so the users might like to see the entire words as different. As I see it, this would make it much more difficu...

[closed] Jumping to next change (F8) puts cursor in wrong sp

When jumping from change to change in a comparison, using F8 key, the cursor is not visible in the new change (marked block in the vertical-middle of the screen), but in, or near to, the second-to-last row in the screen. This has a few pre-conditions: - The previous change was not on the same 'scree...

Ah, ok, I didn't follow the discussion closely so I missed this point, sorry.

But I'll still think about the look & feel of that dialog ;-)

As for projects/Sessions, I'm thinking this over at the moment. If a project feature like in current version 2 is not available, then I most certainly will have big trouble switching to v3. I have a lot of projects that combine lots of file-sets to update sources to several locations on our network...

Well, maybe you could wipe out a few small bugs from the project-'builder', because when dragging projects up/down the list (left column) the dragged project-name often gets replaced with the one it replaces/gets inserted above. This can be quite annoying. As you are re-writing I never mentioned it ...

Yeah, that's a must have! Or at least something like it, like multiple fileselections in a session.

(Just quickly reviewed the alpha for this feature, lack of time prevented an earlier review)

1.) Make this behaveour configurable, like a setting in the Options dialog, and with a commandline parameter, so Drag & Drop (on the Desktop) could possibly ask for a second file, and from "Send to", using cmdline parameter /SingleFileNoQuestions would just start CI waiting for the second file, over...

It's working just fine, except for 2 points: - The 'Open another file to compare with' dialog is always opened when sending just 1 file with 'Send to' - When sending a second file with 'Send to', Windows explorer is still the main visible window, instead of Compare It!. (WinXP here, seems to be a pr...
