Copying cross hatched area (FALSE ALARM)

Post by brahman »

Hi Igor,

if I try to copy the cross hatched (empty) area to the other file, I would expect that the area with content gets erased.

It certainly seems that way at first, since now both sides are cross hatched.

However, when saving the original text reappears.

I would expect when saving that the original text is simply deleted.

Regards,

Brahman

I can't even imagine how this could happen. Are you working with plain text files?

Hmm, yes they were batch files.

And I tried it again today and it worked fine.

So this was a false alarm :).
