[closed] Comparing Excel spreadsheets

Post by lo032398 »

This does not appear to work very well. I have two files one of which is 88K and the other is 422K. CompareIt reports files as identical.

Does it list file content or panels are empty? If panels are empty, it probably could not read files. Currently it could not read password-protected file, as an example. If this is not your case, I will be gratefull if you could send me some file for testing - of course it will be used only for testing purpose.

Compare causes fatal error

Post by HockeyDad2146 »

Hi,

My company recently purchased Compare It! version 3.7.5.1569. When trying to compare 2 Excel spreadsheets, it encounters an error and has to close. The error is encountered a second time when reading the second spread sheet, and also indicates it has to close.

Is there a patch for this problem available?

Thank you,

Kevin

If you could send me your files, this would be great, since I will have an ability to check why converter fails to read files. Otherwise I can just prepare for you current beta version - it has some tweaks in xls handling too.

How do you attach a file to the post?

Please send it to support@grigsoft.com - posting it here is not a good idea.
