Crash when using command line on multiple files

I use Compare It! in a command line to compare multiple files in different folders. The combined size of the files is less than 250KB. Because I have many folders to compare against the same common folder, I run the command line in a loop (the folder to compare changes with each iteration) until all the folders are compared.

About 2-3% of the time, Compare It! crashes or hangs. The crashes are not consistent with when the files in the folders change. Compare It! will run successfully one day, but crash the next day, even though none of the files in the folders changed.

Could this be an intermittent memory problem with Compare It?

Thank you for report!
Can you please try this version: http://www.grigsoft.com/wincmp4bu.zip . I have recently fixed an error in multiple files comparison, maybe this will will help you too.

As for crash, can you supply any crash address reported?

Thanks for the updated version. I tested it out, but the problem still occurs. CompareIt! also takes twice as long to perform multiple file comparison in this version.

Unfortunately, I can't supply a crash address. When the crash occurs, I'm unable to troubleshoot the cause and must end the CompareIt process in the Task Manager before continuing with any other task. Again, this problem is intermittent and it's hard to pinpoint the exact cause or reproduce the problem on command. I appreciate the help though!
