Tabs and HTML reports, and CSS help

Post by Ro Ablate »

Two issues:

1) I would have expected the HTML report generator to replace a tab with an appropriate number of non-breaking spaces. Instead, it treats them just as HTML treats them - as a space or not there at all.

2) So, I thought I would try to work around it if I could figure out the CSS option and setup columns. But the help for this is incomplete and not usable.

Hmm, in fact tabs should be treated in HTML report properly, at least it does so in my tests. I guess you are using last version? In this case maybe you can prepare some small test files for me.

I just exported two files from Excel in text tab delimited format.
The files have 7 columns, first column is not empty, with about 200 lines. Each column has less than 20 characters, most are about 6 characters.

I am using IE 6.0.2800.1106CO.

Hope that helps.[/i]
