Hello.
In the Compare It! compare options, there is a “Ignore comments” options, which can be defined for each profile.
But there is a problem that this option is expected to be reset to false if we select the "Ignore nothing" mode when viewing file during compare.
This is not the case.
It seems to use the “Default profile” settings even in this case, instead.
There is a risk to mistakenly loose date here.

Gingko
“Ignore comments” not reset by “Ignore nothing”
Re: “Ignore comments” not reset by “Ignore nothing”
Hello,
So in your case after you select "Ignore nothing", you still have comments ignored? Which version are you using?

Re: “Ignore comments” not reset by “Ignore nothing”
Hello Igor,
I am using version 4.3b (in the title bar, but 4.2.2250 in the About box), which is, as far as I know, the latest beta available.
The file itself is dated 2015-05-14.
Just select "Ignore comments" in the Default profile, and then switch to "Ignore nothing" while comparing two C/C++ files with some differences in any "/* */" style comments.
