Is it possible to include an unlock/lock for the vertical scrollbars? Maybe via an icon on toolbar. Would be useful if one file has a large chunk of text not in the other file and a piece of text needs to be cut/paste without losing the source position.

Thank you, such locking is already in wish list, too. The problem is editing engine was developed exactly for 2 connected views, so again it would take some time to be done robustly.
