The Handle is invalid

Post by JPG »

When Synchronize It! deletes files is shows this error(The Handle is invalid), even though it does delete the file. Build number 1432
Thanks Jon

p.s
why does the main web site have build 1405. This build does not have this problem.

"The handle is invalid"

Same here also with version 3.3.1432, however I have had this misleading strong message (yellow font over red background) already on previous builds and versions as well. Sorry for not being more specific. I never bother to mention for, as Jon Graef noted it, it does the job fine nonetheless.

Can you check last final 3.2 from http://www.grigsoft.com/wndsync.zip - will it fail in your case? Also, which OS version are you using? I could not get such error.

Version 3.2 worked

Version 3.3.1432 Works but states the error.
I am using Windows XP Home

I have tried this on a fresh copy on virtual pc, and I still get the error message.

Thats about all I can say.

Thanks Jon

In my configuration the version 3.2 you have linked up here does not show this "handle" problem.

Here is my configuration:
Name Windows XP (Professional) Service Pack 2
Terminal Services in Remote Admin Mode
Uniprocessor Free
Running on the console.
OEM Version
Activation Status Activated
Kernel Version 5.1.2600.2180
Security 128 bits

Product Name Microsoft Windows XP
Build Lab 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158

Thanks for the prompt reply :D
