Packages and compare by content

Post by Spitfire_ch »

Hi again,

this is not a real bug, but still might be addressed:

I just learned about the package function and since then use it a lot - really great tool. However, I was kind of astonished when suddenly all the files in the packe seemed to be different from the ones in the target. Took me some moments to find out why: I had selected "compare by content". This of course cannot work, since there is no content in the list entries. So maybe you could either disable this option when packages are included, or replace it by something like "compare by checksum".

Best regards
- spit
