Serious problem with Packages

Post by gkiers »

Hi Igor,

Since July I have not been able to use SynchonizeIt! with packages due to a serious bug that made it impossible

Unfortunately I left it at that, to find out that the program still does not function correct.

I have version 1640 installed.

I synch two PC's with a project that includes several sync jobs

When the packages are not exsisting on the USB drive, the different PKG-archives are created but since July your program saves the LIST\list.txt file only in one of the PKG-files, leaving the rest empty (filesize: 22 bytes). It used to save a LIST\list.txt in every newly created PKG-archives...

There is something serious wrong. Please look into it

This is how the LIST\list.txt looks

It even lists the PKG-files themselves.....

Thank you for your report!
If you execute single session on itself, not in project, will it work correctly?

Well, I am really sorry, but if that really is a relevant question, why don't you try it for yourself? :)

Nevertheless, indeed, when I run it as a session it is done properly, the list-file is created correctly and the packages is filled with the files lacking on the target system.

BUT: there is another change that is relevant, and I do not know if it is intentionally. I'll open a new tread for that one
