does anyone knows if it is possible to replace the native compare tool in vss 6 (visual source safe) by another tool like CompareIt! ? This would be a great advantage!!
As a Delphi programmer I use the vss connexion PlugIn for Delphi what has the feature to use an 3rd party tool. But in case of a general sync it would be great to use CompareIt! in vss client.
No, at the moment I don't know such tool. But I've heard that this should be possible, we just have to study COM interfaces of VSS; so I have this in long-term plans.
